Bai Hao Yin Zhen 2026 opens with a surprising crystalline sweetness, reminiscent of glazed sweet snap peas, balanced by soft notes of vanilla and chamomile.

As the leaves continue to unfold, the sugary sweetness gradually converges into fruitiness, bringing forward notes of white peach alongside fresh hay and fresh herbs. A gentle piquant sensation emerges in the aftertaste, as the finish becomes increasingly spicy, while the texture remains wonderfully juicy throughout.

Compared with the Yin Zhen of previous years, the 2026 harvest has a somewhat fuller presence, bringing it a little closer to Bai Mudan in terms of body, while preserving the exceptional elegance and purity characteristic of Yin Zhen.
