Sencha Yabukita 1999

This organic Yabukita Sencha comes from a pesticide-free farm thriving since the early 1980s. A rare and hard to find treasure from the 90s, it’s been carefully stored at room temperature in Japan until 2025, preserving its timeless character and exceptional quality. Harvested in the last millennium, this tea offers a refined and elegant experience cherished by discerning tea lovers.

Its thick, rich liquor delivers a bold mouthfeel with mild acidity and a distinctive bitterness reminiscent of a boutique Pilsner beer—without the alcohol. Each steeping unfolds deeper complexity and increases the acidity about a tad, inviting a slow, immersive tasting. A truly exceptional relic and perfect for connoisseurs and collectors seeking a unique and memorable Japanese green tea.
