Vintage Tieguanyin 2003

Bridging the gap between our sold-out Vintage Tieguanyin offerings from 2000 and 2005, this traditionally roasted 2003 exemplar shares enough traits with its siblings to be instantly recognizable, yet still manages to assert its own individuality.

Expect comforting aromas of caramelized sugar and freshly roasted coffee, but the real standout here is an iron-like minerality that unfolds after swallowing and lingers alongside a crisp, subtle green-apple fruitiness. The result is an engaging interplay: warm, toasty notes at first, followed by a cool, refreshing sensation in the throat.
