- Tea Knowledge
Add a festive air to the opening of Pu'er cakes or that vintage zhong cha with this needle. The wrapping of colored string and bright beads on the handle almost distracts from the fact that this is a serious tool: the tapered end has been flattened out so as to pass between flat layers of compressed tea leaves and provide more leverage when prying them apart. Another bead serves as a cap for the sharp needle, keeping it safely covered when not in use. Though a simple item, it makes breaking compressed tea not only easy, but pleasurable. A must for the Pu'er lover's toolbox.
Please do exercise caution when using.
