The product of a tea producer specializing in Gushu sourcing, we've offered several of their Shu in the past, and keep returning for more. These cakes have had a few years to temper their bud-rich leaves, but they won't likely age much longer in our hands—there's only a couple on stock. The Pu'er enthusiast may also appreciate one of the producer's hallmarks: a simple wrapper embellished with a figure in a silk painting style. This one features the namesake bird and the tea's full title, "The Call of the Crane Over the Marshland".

Start with few seconds. Increase the brewing time at each following infusion. Exception: If the leaves are pressed, make the first infusion longer than the second. For best results in gongfu cha, brew in a Yixing teapot.
