Tieluohan
This Tieluohan continues our tradition of offering affordable yet authentic Yan Cha. As one of the Si Da Ming Cong, or "four great famous bushes," this cultivar is often associated with the aroma of pears—and indeed, pear is one of the most prominent fragrances rising from the wet leaves, alongside a dark floral note and the warmth of charred wood.
The complexity continues on the palate: a blend of dark roses, blackberries, condensed milk, and oak, accented by the warming spiciness of fresh ginger. These flavors gradually give way to a slate-like minerality and a lingering, sweet aftertaste. There is a lot to discover here, and you are encouraged to experiment with water temperature and infusion times to find your own ideal preparation of this Yan Cha.
With its full, silky mouthfeel, deeply warming character, and clean roast, this Tieluohan is the perfect choice for a laid-back, relaxing—yet never dull—tea session.
