Huoshan Huang Ya BIO

Huoshan Huang Ya is a classic tea from Anhui province produced either as green or yellow tea.

The flavor is warm and nutty with a distinctive note of roasted artichokes.

This tea is produced by an organic tea factory specialized in green and yellow tea. They produce just three kinds of teas: Huoshan Huang Ya also as truly yellowed yellow tea and Lu'an Gua Pian.

  • ORIGIN:  Huoshan, Lu'an, Anhui, China
  • MEANING:  Yellow bud from Huoshan (huoshan huang ya)
  • CULTIVAR:  Jin ji zhong
  • HARVEST TIME:  Spring 2018
  • TASTE:  Warm, nutty, artichoke


Preparation
IN THE TEAPOT
  • Quantity: 6g / 500ml
  • Water temperature: 80°C
  • Infusion time: 4-5 min
GONGFU CHA METHOD
  • Quantity: 2g / 150ml
  • Water temperature: 80°C
  • 3 infusions: 60, 60, 90 sec

For best results brew in a tall glass and fill with water before adding the leaves. Too high water temperature would burn the leaves, and the tea will taste bitter and sour.
