Dancong Huang Pian
Dancong Oolongs are the great mimics of the tea world, their taste and aroma can taste of a myriad of flowers and fruits, each one being a new adventure. Huang Pian (Yellow Slices) is usually kept by the farmers since the leaves are wilder looking than typical Dancong, this makes it fairly hard to get outside of China.
The large leaves give off a delicate floral and fruity aroma, while the taste is sweet and reminiscent of orchids and apples. Its gentle nuances and longevity will appeal to long time Dancong fans, while those new to Dancong Oolongs will appreciate its less finicky brewing nature.
