Organic Indian Peony

While the tiny tea-growing region of Darjeeling is primarily known for producing 'the Champagne' of black teas, many producers have diversified their production methods to include other types of tea.

This white tea is produced by the Tindharia estate almost exactly like a Chinese Bai Mudan, or White Peony, but brings a unique character of its own.

With rich vegetable undertones, a delicate brewing will produce a soft, subtly sweet, and juicy liquor, hinting at lemon peel, buttermilk, and yeast buns, and with a delicacy to rival that of any white tea from the Middle Kingdom.

As with our Chinese teas, Nannuoshan is proud to have sourced this Darjeeling personally, directly from the farm, ensuring its provenance and quality.
