Tea Seminar: Introduction to the world of tea

Introductory seminar about the world of full-leaf hand-picked tea, carefully sourced directly from the best tea gardens. We will take you to a journey through the six tea categories - white, green, yellow, oolong, black and post-fermented - in a convivial, shared experience.
The seminar covers the origin of tea and its preparation. We will show you how to get the perfect tea cup from each tea looking together at different steeping techniques, teaware, water temperature and steeping time.
Together we will taste tea of different kind, prepared for you according to the traditional Chinese method, the Gongfu Cha. This brewing technique unifies art and technique, body and spirit, for a multisensorial tea experience. Each tea is steeped several times and the taste evolves at each infusion, revealing different aspects of the tea.
During the workshop we serve pastries and fruit. If needed, we will held the seminar in both English and German.
